Hi, I am Laura.
I am originally from Germany, born and raised. What brought me here? My husband who was stationed with the military in Germany. I have been living in the U.S. since summer 2021. My career started as a Public Administration Specialist for a county administration in Germany. After moving here, my husband and I explored the U.S. in a semi-truck for a few months. After traveling, we settled down in Washington State because of its breathtaking outdoors. After a brief job search, I continued my career changing from being a Public Administration Specialist to being a Grant Specialist without any experience with grants. However, I attended college courses and learned what I had to know to successfully do the job. A year later, I was promoted to Grants Program Coordinator. Now, after being in this position for 1 1/2 years, I am ready to start something new. LC Grant Consulting is my very first business, and I could not be more excited to go on funding journeys with you to help your organization and your community pursue needed funding and achieve impactful outcomes. I am the Lead Grant Writer and here to assist you with any funding needs including grant research and grant writing encompassing foundation, state, and federal grants.
